Week one 2 deep

Is the new transfer backer is very good in the new middle, why not play Wilson at the outside position. He fast and would be seem to be able to play anywhere.
That’s what I was trying to say earlier. I believe the depth chart is accurate, at least to the point that RW may not start. My wild ass guess is that RW may sub in on obvious passing downs like last year as it worked so well. I just don’t think he subs in for Koho tho for those downs. Maybe he will sub in for Koho in general when Koho comes out, but for rushing the QB, my guess is RW subs in for Barnum or Terrell, or maybe RW does sub in for Koho on passing plays and one of those other two LBs slides over into Koho’s spot in the middle. All speculation based on how RW was used last year when it seemed like they saved him for passing downs and did not waste energy on likely rushing plays.

I was surprised to see Wilson as a backup as he was a pre season all American, maybe hurt or got in trouble??? Any way look to see him play early. Go Griz kick some posterior!

That's what I'm saying. Riley Wilson is a starter. Hence why nobody should believe the depth chart
When Janacaro wasn’t listed as a starter last year Bobby said in QB Club he was going to let us in on a secret. We grade every rep of every practice in fall camp. The guys that grade the highest are listed as starters. Obviously Riley will play a lot. Just like Levi

The following on the 2 deep did not play according to the participation stats (all others played at least on special teams) :
Racanelli
Junior
McCabe
Wilson

I swear Sawyer was out there in some offensive sets in the second half. I’ll have to try and pay attention when I rewatch the game.

The participation chart is so woeful that at one point they had our starting line-up having only four o-line (no center) and our d playing a 4-3-5. Unfortunately the participation report that I used to provide was based on being able to see the replay on Wally The Bronco, and it doesn't look like that is an option anymore. Alas.

Yep. The participation report on gogriz.com only lists 10 offensive starters (no center) and 12 defensive starters. You’d think we’d have done better with 12. Maybe it confused the players…
