Week 2: Montana @ Washington Game Thread

What makes this difficult is that it's not even a fight. The players are fighting hard, but top to bottom Dub outclasses the Griz by such a wide magrgin that it is hard to see many positives. Except the pick 6 (awesome) and Phillips being pretty darn cool and collected.

Huskies resorting to trick plays and a blatant f***[*] hold on the punt return...tackle eligible? Really? That's like bunting to break up a no hitter.

that's funny AZ... :egriz:

We moved the ball and had a couple chances that half, didn't put any points up but could have. Not that bad on the offensive side.

Defensively was what we knew it would be, we're overmatched against these guys. Won't be able to take much away from this game on that side of the ball.

Hopefully Washington plays a lot of 2's and 3's later so we can work on some things.

Injury free....Injury free...Injury free.

Exactly, no injuries and a big check to take home.

I don't disagree with you PDX, except in one area. A major positive is the O line. A good first half for them. Griz ran the ball pretty well really and that will be great for confidence. I am pissed that Stitt did not kick the field goal. 3 points does a lot for the teams confidence. You are not going to beat Washington - period. At least get some points and the little victories mean something for the offense.

Better get a few hits on the QB or that ass coach will keep him in to inflate stats for a possible Heisman run. No fear of injury if he isn't getting hit.

Are you like me? Do you hate the realist bastards who said this would happen?

Well have to admit after the pick 6 I was believing we could do it for a good 4 mins then they marched right down the field on us....

This hurts my optimism for our defense. I know it's a good Washington team, but no pressure at all on them.

Dude it's not even on the same level. Also keep in mind I'm sure we're playing pretty vanilla. No use showing the whole big sky your arsenal playing against a top fbs team

Is this a serious post?

On the plus side, I just saw a GREAT Montana ad! During a game even! Remember when they were MSU ads?

Jury is still way out on this defense. I understand the difference in these two teams, but it is just not there! Hope I am wrong.

On a positive note. Our commercials seem better this year and we're not recycling the same ones for the last 10 yrs
