Either UNI has that good a defense or we need to REALLY fix some things on Offense, probably a combination of both. We were way to conservative with the play calling, not going to win games running for 3 yards off tackle every damn time

I thought UNI would win. The offense is what I thought they were, but figured they were good to turn it over a couple times, but the defense exceeded my expectations. Good win.

First: Mea culpa. I doubted very much the Griz could win this one. Griz #14 on the road against the #3 team in FCS, a team that had already gone toe-to-toe on the road with an FBS team, and won. I hoped, and thought, the Griz would make it respectable ... but only dreamed of an upset win.

I swear, some of the fans here on eGriz would bitch if they were being hung with an old rope. It's a team game ... and the team won. Northern Iowa is a damn good team -- with what we saw in the NAU-NDSU game, they could well win the Missouri Valley. But the Griz beat them on their home field.

I would also point out, in case you missed it, the Griz were the only Big Sky team to actually win in this great BSC-MVFC confrontation. Yes, two games went into OT, but the Big Sky reps lost both. NAU looked good for a long time, but also finally lost. So shut the f**k up and enjoy the win.
