We move up 3 spots, but still trail the Weebs? Come on Griz Nation? Get out and support the boys?? They are ball players. They have so much back court talent its sick?? Nation wide our back court is among the best?? What we may lack inside, our back court is flat out bad ass, and people in Missoula have know clue?? :thumb:

The WSU-UM game this Saturday is HUGE! The winner could possibly break into the top 20 next week, have huge momentum, take control of their own destiny in the BSC, and gain a quality win. And if UM wins, they could continue to seek the longest BSC winning streak.

All games are important and the game in Ogden will be, too. However, the Griz really need wins this week at home. The timing and opportunity to garner attention this early in the year would help dramatically if the Griz are fortunate enough to make it to post season play.

Come on, GRIZNATION! Do your part this week!

You are so right! Spot on Oleboy! Some Weber posters think the midmajor poll dont mean crap?? I have to ask? If not for this poll, we would be in a play in game for sure??? Its the only respect the BigSky gets?? Heres to Weebs and the Griz for what we have achieved? Big game this week, and let the winner take it to Ogden?? And then?? Hopefully back to Missoula?? The BigSky may be down this year, but the top two remain the same!

I checked this like 4 times..how is butler not on this? is the a10 not mid major? If gonzaga is thought of as a mid major surely butler is

Holy crap just noticed?? Wishful thinking? Weebs 22, UM 23, and Zags #1. Hopefully after this weekend we jump up four spots to # 19?? I think we beat ISU 68_56, and we beat Weebs 75-68! Anyone else??

This week's games are huge, of course the Weber/UM matchup on saturday is looming, but both teams need to take care of business on thursday. I am actually a little worried about the MSU game on Thurs, MSU is playing better and Weber has been struggling. However, I noticed that Weber does play with more urgency on the road.

Here's hoping both Weber and UM win on thursday to make the epic showdown on Saturday that much more EPIC

that's the first thing i noticed and was actually going to ask that very question. would be interested to see if this was just a mistake or if there is little-known criteria for what is considered "mid-major". might read up on it a bit this afternoon.

Butler moved to the A-10 this year, and they are not part of the conferences considered for the mid-major poll.

From the Poll: "I consider a mid-major to be any team that does not compete in the ACC, Big Ten, Big 12, Big East, SEC, Pac-12, Atlantic 10, Conference USA or Mountain West.)"

thanks for that. surprising to me that the a-10 is now considered a major conference. clears it up though so i appreciate it.
