Ouch !!! :fuel:

Weber State womens BB takes on Montana State at 2 p.m., looking to close its season on a positive note and claim its first Big Sky Conference victory. The womens BB Wildcats (0-15 Big Sky, 2-26 overall) are looking to avoid becoming the sixth team in Big Sky history to fil to gain a conference victory, and break a 19-game skid.

isn't ladyball more of a club sport, you know, like Big Sky bowling or rugby.

If the Lady Wildcats were 16-0 in conference the only people that would attend are some retiree's, & that's only if the game didn't fall on a Costco Free Sample Day.

Because in Utah women belong at home and pregnant not on the basketball court. ;)

I agree with you.....who cares? I'm not into watching the pretty panties run. If I want to observe young ladies in contorted positions, i'll visit a titty bar.

A man who denigrates women athletes either (1) got their asses handed to them by a woman at some point, or (2) is trying to overcompensate for their bi-curiousness.

In purple's and pickle's case, I'd say it's probably a lot of both....

I'm actually quite bummed that PickleSuck has taken my side, & then he brings strip clubs into the mix, which is the only denigration of women worth worrying about on this thread.

I saw way more Women's basketball supporting my Sis @ Weber yrs ago than I care to remember.

The Lady Griz hope you stay classy. :thumb:

I've got a neighbor who is an absolute gym rat; every spare moment, she's shooting hoops. She's endured two knee surgeries, she's only 5'2" and this season (hs junior) she finally made varsity. She got a total of something like 8 minutes of playing time and scored 6 points -- 2 for 4 on 3-pointers -- for the whole season. The season ended about 10 days ago for her team, but I just got home from the grocery store and when I pulled up, she was in her driveway putting up shots. Next year will probably be the same for her, but she won't slow down for a second. I admire the heck out of that kid. Most likely, every player on that Weber State women's team shares a similar passion for the game. It's not always about winning records or being the star of the team, sometimes it boils down to simply loving the game.
