Just got back from the game.

Griz started with very little intensity which carried almost into the half. In contrast, Weber State came out with quite a bit of intensity, outrebounding the Griz, getting the lucky bounces, shots, and passes. It was good Griz was able to stay close and then able to tie it to end the first half.

Second half, Griz came out with much better intensity, got the lead up to 10. With around 5 minutes left and the 10 point lead, Griz did tense up, but good defense kept the lead.

Good game for Matthews with 19 points. Another good game for Strait with 19 points. Criswell had 15 points, but missing two freethrows at the end (unusual).

This is by far the worst shooting game of the year, around 42%.

Griz turned the ball over only 10 times.

Matt Martin didn't start. Seems that Krysko was down on him for not getting his hands up on defense against ISU. He is starting to make an emphasis on defense and it is showing, though it seems that offense is taking a hit.

Griz playing Cats next week at 3:05PM next saturday. Everyone on the bus and get to Bozeman to cheer the Griz on.

Other stuff I should add:

Matthews snared 13 rebounds to earn a double-double. Big offensive rebound near the end was huge, may have been the difference in the game.

Griz outrebounded Wildcats 41 - 34.

Montana got 11 points off of turnovers, Wildcats 3.

Griz only got 8 points from the bench. Starting Dlouhy over Martin may be the cause here. But, Dlouhy got 4 blocks, there's the defense.
