Could the 9 scholarships be over the course of 3 years at 3 per year, not 9 total scholarships?

Yes, it's 3 per year. Not nearly as bad as 9 per year would have been, but still very unfair in the eyes of Weber fans. This was an isolated incident involving 5 players and 1 corrupt adjunct math professor. No one else in the athletic department was involved or knew anything about it. Nothing like what was going on at North Carolina. The school self reported the incident, the professor quit, and the 5 players where suspended and then kicked off the team. But as we all know, the NCAA is a joke of an organization and nothing they do makes any sense at all.
