Weber at Cats Game Day Thread

Reading this thread has me confused. Wtf is going on? Scores on ESPN don’t work, but I can read this thread that refreshes every 5 minutes.

Btw, Austin, next time you want to be considered a “tech city”, make sure your f###[#] network and Wi-Fi work when you host an event. It’s not difficult. f###[#] amateur hour over here.

Summary:

Weber winning pretty big 24-9.
Cats summon a witch who puts hex on Weber.
Weber long snapper send 4 snaps over punters head...4 safeties.

Weber turns into shit show. Cats running game and wine guy begin to roll.

Cats 42-weber 24 late in 3rd.

Cats o-line is very young...and their running game is explosive and elite.

How can they possibly recruit that position group so well?
What is your theory honestly? Good recruiting? Coaching the players up? Offensive scheme to help them succeed? A little of all that?

What an epic collapse by Weber State.

Not trying to look ahead, but we'll either get a demoralized Wildcat team next weekend or a pissed off one. This makes our game tonight against Sac State that much more important to win.

Wait.

So the ‘scats have a cannon they fire off after every score
The scats sing Sweet Caroline.
The scats announcer screams “first dooooooooown” and they answer “bobcats!!!!!”

Is there ANYTHING they do that’s original?

They look like we did last week against Idaho.

I don't know. All I've been told is it is a very hard position to recruit. Some teams figure it out...

Yes, Yes, and Yes.

Holy shit, what lucky breaks for the scumcats once again. Thank you for the update. I’m not sure when this message will get to you because I’m apparently in 1995 here in BFE, but thank you.

Absolutely fucking nothing. I’ve been saying they run a 7/8 scale Griz program for years. It’s 1/1 true.

An oline coach that kids want to play for and not be treated like crap for one. There was a reason the new head coach kept him from Choate's staff.

The one dimensional cats offense absolutely schooled the heralded weber defense.

The Kitties have an identity and execute it very well. Credit where it’s due, they’re good at what they do

And...their identity is built for the playoffs.

Ouch.

If you are watching the game, you are witnessing history in the making.
Four Safeties for the Weber State long snapper is an FCS record.

One benefit to rushing with your QB constantly is that you often get 15 yards tacked onto the run when a defender does their job.

Weber must have stole our special teams playbook. Man, they were manhandling the Bobcats in every phase and now Bobcats are in it because of stupid mistakes. Neither team looks good.

Don’t throw stones in glass houses. We looked like trash the last couple of games, and will need lots of prayers and a miracle to get us through the evening with a win.

Good thing we won't play anyone as good as Sac until playoffs
