BW,Grzz & TLess getting the statewide tailgate rolling early this morning. (The three guys huddled on the field for those of you who won’t get the reference).

Fireball? Asking for a friend.

Cookus and his throwing concern me more than NAU's running game. The UM D has been good against the run.

I am hoping that a lot of the NAU guys are pussies, when it comes to cold or bad weather. NAU plays indoors. Excluding frosh, NAU has only a half dozen or so players from outside of AZ, CA and Las Vegas. This afternoon will presumably be their only practice in the cold/snow.

I am hoping the Griz D can put some heat on Cookus, and then we'll see how he likes hitting the ground in the cold.

I believe they have an outside practice field at about 7000’ is probably cold this time of year.

Wonder where they have been practicing???

It's supposed to be 60 in Flagstaff today. Not low 30's with snow on ground and lurking.

Snow on the ground will have the boys feeling at home. Flagstaff gets twice as much snow as Missoula on average. It's going to come down to the Jimmy's & Joe's, some X's & O's.. but weather won't be a factor. 33 degrees is perfect football weather. You won't see many sleeves on the Jacks.

How much snow has Flagstaff had this fall, and how many times has your team practiced in the snow this week?

Edit: Since 10/22, it has been between 72 and 68 on seven days. Only 2 days under 60. Both at 57. One was yesterday when the team presumably didn't practice in Flagstaff. Ya, assume those CA and AZ kids will love the temps today.

You keep telling yourself what ever makes you feel better this morning...

I honestly don't see weather as a big advantage for either team at WaGriz.

But I was just looking at some webcams and it looks pretty bad in Bozeman, with lots of snow on the ground and flurries coming down now and then. Temps in the low 20s. FYI: Kennesaw State is located about ten miles northwest of the outskirts of Atlanta. It's been in the mid-70s there for the past few days. Yes, we know some teams can adapt with no trouble, but I'm guessing weather will be a factor in Bozie.

And you keep denying that weather is likely to be some amount of a factor.

If you are going to continue to crawl back here every couple of months, do you think you could put a little more effort into your usernames? This one ranks right up there with 'carneyworker'.
