Weather

Oh wait, I forgot about the Missoula weather tradition thingy.

What I meant to say is that it’s a full on arctic blizzard here. Probably 30 below zero with a 60mph wind. Supposed to get 42-46 inches of snow over night with a high tomorrow of 17 below.

Just looked and perhaps flurries from 2-5 with temp about 35. Lets hope for slick balls when throwing passes, Griz offense running for 400 and a win!

Do you think you have a better running game than NAU?

Neither are that great. I think what he was saying is our pass defense is worse than NAU's. Our run defense has not been the problem.

Griz running for 400? You mean for the season? 8-)

Cookus and his throwing concern me more than NAU's running game. The UM D has been good against the run.

I am hoping that a lot of the NAU guys are pussies, when it comes to cold or bad weather. NAU plays indoors. Excluding frosh, NAU has only a half dozen or so players from outside of AZ, CA and Las Vegas. This afternoon will presumably be their only practice in the cold/snow.

I am hoping the Griz D can put some heat on Cookus, and then we'll see how he likes hitting the ground in the cold.

NAU will play first half ok, it's when you go in at halftime and get warm that things begin to hurt and your not too excited to go back out.

I believe they have an outside practice field at about 7000’ is probably cold this time of year.

Wonder where they have been practicing???

Oh, yeah! Think Coastal Carolina. [sarcasm]

WaGriz needs a glass enclosure, not necessarily a dome. The problem will always be getting there and back, safely.

The thread is "weather." For all the local Missoula people. How are the roads in the area? I am coming in from Great Falls via Helena? I mean, how is the weather in area?

Montana highways are a mess. Check the road maps online. Y'all take it easy and be careful tomorrow. We want to see everyone be safe, even the a-holes.

It's supposed to be 60 in Flagstaff today. Not low 30's with snow on ground and lurking.

Snow on the ground will have the boys feeling at home. Flagstaff gets twice as much snow as Missoula on average. It's going to come down to the Jimmy's & Joe's, some X's & O's.. but weather won't be a factor. 33 degrees is perfect football weather. You won't see many sleeves on the Jacks.
