So what you are saying is that the temp will continue to get hotter during the Griz game but continue to get cooler during the Cat game? Seems that is a bigger deal than the temp at kickoff...

Yes, those reasoning skills could get a guy lunch with Sidney Powell.

It's not reasoning. It's reading the projected hourly temp reports on the internet.

Wait a minute. We’re well over two pages in and Raider hasn’t had a shit fit about people bitching about the weather??

Honestly, I don’t even recognize this place anymore.

From 11 till 4, on the hour. 77, 83, 89, 94, 96, 97. Sunny until 1. Then, mostly sunny, partly sunny, mostly cloudy. AC in Canyon Club.

Bozeman: from 4 till 9. 89, 90, 89, 86, 80, 75. Sunny until sunset.

Then increasing chance of darkness.

I'm just going to take the guess this is/will be the hottest game on record in Wa Griz. Was chatting on twitter with a few other fans and some of the others we recall were 8 to 10 degrees cooler.

I'm not worried about the team, they've been practicing all August in this heat. Nor am I concerned about NSU - I'd assume with them being from Louisiana they're used to playing in the heat.

I'm honestly worried about the fans and attendance. I've said it before (as have others) there should never be early afternoon kickoffs in early September. Those stands are going to feel like well over 100 degrees. And they're hoping for a maroon out too? I'm seeing some people are dropping out due to concerns over the heat and their health already.

I would love it if the UM moved the kick time. My guess is they just can't. I really do hope they have some plans for attending to heat related issues in the stands.
Just stupid that this is not a night game. If this is truly a BH decision because he “doesn’t like night games”, someone needs to step up and tell him he is wrong. (Kent Haslam) When we have early season non conference games, they should be late after noon or evening games. This year, both the Opener and the South Dakota games should be 6 or 7 pm
kickoffs.
Go Griz!

Why do people think Bobby decides everything UM related? I highly doubt BH does the scheduling lmao

Why are people scared of 95 degrees? I take it a lot of people have never worked outside in the summer? Tf is going on... some whiny ass people.. fr

Probably because some of us do real work outside. Been putting in 12-18 hours a day for over a month harvesting and haying in this miserable fucking heat. 6pm kickoffs exist. It’s not going to hurt anyone to watch an evening game. I’ve got the over under on heat related illness in our section at 1.5. This isn’t the south, we don’t have to be fucking miserable.

If you're used to working outside, it shouldn't bother you to sit in a stadium. If you're that much of a baby, bring an umbrella or something. And the sun disagrees with you. I've been miserable this whole 2 months of summer, yet I never cried about it.

Trust me it isn't going to bother me. The old lady 3 rows back is going to tip over though. The opportunity for a better experience exists and here you are being a twat to people pointing it out.

Well, here in this part of Montana at least, the daily temps this time of year peak between 3-5pm, normally.

I'll take the weather!

It has been raining for a month and a half straight in AK. Yesterday we reached our annual precipitation measurement for the year and we still have 4 more months of 2022. Cant wait to get out of here for a few days!

BH is the chief reason we don't have more night games. However, for this particular game the AD saved on the guarantee cost so NW St. doesn't need an extra night's boarding. The desires of the revenue-paying fans is way down the list. They'll come anyhow. Don' need a fan advocate.

If you don't think the AD has BH preferences in mind when setting FB game start times then you are very naive. At a time when they are negotiating BH's next contract....

And, just as soon as you open it, you'll get it taken away from you by that short, skinny little octogenarian woman GrizGranny behind you, who will beat you nearly to death with it, then stick it up your ass. But, hey, ya gotta do what ya gotta do. She will.

Decided not to drive over from Billings for the game. I’ll do a 10 below zero game before a 100 degrees everyday and twice on Sunday. Be there for homecoming though.

Current temp predictions, Missoula: 73 at 11, 7 at noon, 88 at 1, 94, at 2, 96 at 3, 98 at 4.

Bozeman: 96 at 4, 96 at 5, 95 at 6, 91 at 7, 85 at 8, 80 at 9.
