We Now know What to do Moving Forward

I know there are probably going to be several threads like this. But I just need to get this off my chest. For years now it has been non stop regression on Offense and now we are seeing it catch up on the defensive side of the ball. To put it plainly, we are a bad team and no amount of talking up Pioneer and D2 schools is going to fix that, we have regressed badly and RTD has failed under Bobby.

Our game plan now needs to be as follows:

-Get through this season and though we have a Snowballs chance in hell of it happening try for a Playoff miracle.

-Do not renew Bobby after his contract ends in January of 2024

-Start looking for a new HC now along with a completely new Offensive coaching staff. Seeing the writing on the wall this early gives us an advantage of trying to find a good fit.

-Try and keep as many players as we can, cut down on loss of talent to rebuild with next year.

I very rarely ever get into the mindset of it's the end of the world, house is burning down, it's all over ex. but this was fuc-k-ing embarrassing and there is no hiding that we are trending in the wrong direction and have been for years. Bobby had a chance to make some waves with good hires and a solid reset but instead went and got an OC that he is buddies with who brings nothing but the same bland scheme that achieves nothing. He literally chose friends over program.

I love Montana and will be rooting for them for the rest of the Season but right now IMO the writing is on the wall, GO GRIZ and FTC.

He had his chance to make significant coaching changes this offseason but chose to switch around the chairs. He wants the 3-5 It all falls on the head coach now. Bobby 2.0 is a flop. He has enough years to get them to a top level he hasn't , in fact seems heading in opposite direction.

Don't give a shit, what helps Montana is all that matters and that clearly isn't Bobby

I think his implication is that if Bobby can somehow squeeze out the record THIS year he may go of his own accord…but either way, I agree and I don’t care whether he gets the record or not. Hell the guy who OWNS the record proved that it can be achieved through years of mediocrity.
