We are going to get rolled nest week

Unless Stitt can rally the team and pull a rabbit out of his green hat, we're in trouble boys.
Listened to a couple guys discussing the Griz today. They think Stitt it's on over his head.
GO GRIZ!

Holy fucking chicken little....

Back to the whole "our offense sucks." When we are actually pretty good on offense. It just doesn't seem good because we freeze up in the red zone.

It's because over the last 3 years we recruited an offensive line that wouldn't be effective in the frontier conference.

Stitt's offense is extremely effective, however in the red zone you straight up need better players. Between the 20's we are right there with EWU and MSU , even with backup QB's, and that is 100% due to Stitt.

Chalich had three drives against Weber and the offense scored 2 touchdowns. I don't think it will be a dramatic drop off to Makena Simis playing this week. They will need to get the ball out of his hands quick to avoid the pass rush (which is what they do with the lateral passing game). I too have watched UND's defense they run a 3-4 and load the box. The type of lateral passing game Montana uses will work against it if the receivers are able to block. What the hell do you think they have been working on the past two weeks? UND's offense is worse than Montana's and the Grizzly defense WILL have it's way with them. The game is at WGS not in the dome. I think the Griz will win the game not get "rolled".

Outlook for the ISU game is more favorable. QB out for the season. Six players to have surgery this week. The ISU site has a couple of detailed posts about the EWU game.

It's a good thing South Dakota didn't bother playin the game cus everyone knew they were gonna get rolled by NDSU. Oh wait....

Pipe dream; hasn't happened through the last 3 coaching regimes; why would it suddenly? Besides they insist on going to smurf target Naccarato who hasn't gotten past a tackle all year.

We will hopefully find more diversified ways to beat UND. After all our OC is an offensive genius.

Without a run game for the Griz and the OL, UND "should" be able to bring pressure and still have the defensive backs cover receivers. They shouldn't have to sell out to bring the pressure. The problem for UND is moving the ball against the Griz defense, scoring enough points, especially if Bartels runs around in the backfield giving up 22 yard loses, and not throwing it away.

The last two weeks UND has put together three good quarters each game, unfortunately for them their 4th quarters have given the game away.

I think it will be close, and probably a couple interceptions for the Sioux, but the Griz will need to kick a field goal or two to win. Points are going to be hard to come by.

If we cannot score more than twenty some we likely end on a five game slide on the end of some blowouts!

Prediction: If we score 25 against UND, we win the game. They've scored more than 25 just twice this season as have we, and we've given up 25+ just twice (1-1).

I'll point out the obvious. The Griz will need to score more points than UND to win the game and the last time I looked there were points given for field goals and absolutely no points given for turn overs on downs.

I agree. I don't think they can score more than 25 against the Griz. Going to be a lot like the PSU/UND game score wise

An extra week for Simis to get more snaps and some guys healed up. I don't see us getting rolled. It would be nice to see Janssen out of the Stitt house. He's harder to tackle than Nacarroto. Tired of seeing 10+ balls a game thrown that way for little or no gain. Good receiver but we have others as well.
When is nest week?

I'm glad I came across this post, I was excited to watch the Griz play und and get back on track. Now that I have read the op I have decided to drive to boise and watch the broncos play Wyoming.

Pretty sure OP was talking about the EWU game. It's known as Nest Week. Many EWU fans have taken to calling the bleachers to the side of the red turf "The Nest." I'm not sure why.
