Sorry to put this frail attempt at a comparison out of its misery but we got murdered by a championship team, which is more than any of Hauck's opponents could say.

He had enough time to assemble fully recruited rosters and never once fielded a defense as smothering as even a modern rebuilding NDSU's.

Having one similarity (time of possession mentality) is not grounds for equivalency, or apples and oranges would taste the same on the basis they are fruits.

We got Bisoned. Let's try not to attempt to evaluate the way this coach stacks up with a premier program until at least 50% of his players are his, especially when it was made quite clear today their players are better than ours (we must bid some stellar seniors farewell though).

I know this was a bait thread but some fans may not be putting this into perspective.
