Watching BC vs CC

This game reminds me of the classic philosophical question...

If a team wins in an empty stadium, does it count?

It's not empty there must be at least 300-400 fans there

Both teams have been unimpressive. CC has created some pressure with blitzes but BC's OL and QB's lack of reads/instincts have made the blitzes look spectacular.

CC's passing game looks ok/good but hard to tell with a terrible BC secondary. CC's RB is overhyped...should be shut down with LBs like Montana's that actually fill run lanes and a disciplined defense.

Maybe both teams could be faster than they seem since they are playing on natural grass.

 I do like BC's Oregon-like helmets, though. Maybe we could have a similar one for an alternate next year.

I have a funny feeling should we play CC we are gonna force some fumbles. Just a funny feeling...

Is it in your crotch?...probably means nothing in relation to football

Okay size on the O but damn their pups. Of course this is from August, i have no idea about injuries

Watch this game, then the Nau Sdsu tonight and lets compare who is a JC school and who is an FCS school

Man I bet there are only 3000 people in the stands....if that. Gonna be eye-opening for whichever team come to Missoula next week. We are spoiled no doubt about it!

We don't draw well during break at all. And combine that with the beach only being a miles away; people tend to head to the various attractions there. And to your comment about eye -opening crowds... See South Carolina and Liberty

I don't think either will be too stunned after playing AT Florida State and South Carolina. I beleive our rabid crowd will prove to stimulate whoever plays and they will bring their "A game" to quote the great Bobby Hauck.

Bold correct. Add Liberty's crowd as well.

Not impressed with BC. CC has a shitty punter. They appear to have some speed. Only impressed with Lorenzo @ this point.

Our punter injuried his leg two weeks ago. We have Matt Hazel who was Pre-Season Offensive Player of the Year and a NFL prospect. Yes, Lorenzo is quite impressive.

It's like a junior college playing a high school team.

If you feel that way! I will say we are definitely playing uninspired right now and have been playing that way the whole game. It's not a good looking football game at all.

anybody watching on xbox. Much better feed and picture than I expected. Can flip back and forth between games pretty easily as well.

Well.... I'm starting to think we clobber either of these teams, just given the weather and stadium factors if nothing else. However, if B-C makes an amazing comeback today, Griz D (I started listing names, but realized there were too many possibilities) will eat their QB alive. Only CC guy looking particularly interesting is McClure. 19 looks like he might give Chief a little work.

You can also watch two games at once!

Sounds like Coastal Carolina's offense is legit since they are taking it to the #2 ranked total defense and #4 scoring D in FCS. The Griz D will have to play solid and the O will have to keep their foot on the pedal and score over 30 to win. Hope you are right about the weather and stadium being huge home field factors for the Griz.

Go Griz
