Washington-Grizzly Stadium review on StadiumJourney.com

Hi Griznation,

A while back the stadiumjourney.com website put out a request for a correspondent for Montana. I had been a fan of the website for a while and when the request went out a couple of more times I decided what the heck-I'd give it a try. I am not in any way a professional writer. Anyway-I've done reviews of Bobcat football and basketball along with the Missoula Osprey and Idaho Falls Chuckars (they had me branch out into SE Idaho too). And now finally I got over to the Sac-State-Griz game last week and got a new review of Washington-Grizzly Stadium done. My review replaces an older review by someone else who did a good job but I thought sold the stadium a little short. My review should put your stadium at the top of the FCS ratings which I think any fair and objective person would agree it belongs there. In my future travels I hope to update the review of Worthington Arena since it has been reconfigured and the Dahlberg Arena review needs updating as well. Also, I hope to freshen up some more Pioneer League parks next summer and maybe get ISU next football season-we'll see.

The new Washington-Grizzly review is here: http://www.stadiumjourney.com/stadiums/washington-grizzly-stadium-s999" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

By the way-I had a nice time in Missoula last weekend. It was the first Griz game I've ever seen live that didn't also involve the Cats. That made it a much more relaxing experience.

Peace

I believe this to be fair and well done, thanks belgradebobcat for your objectivity imo....

Nice review, but you forgot 'cold and loud' :D We are very proud of 'cold and loud':)

I thought it was a pretty good review until I got to the light rail comment....wtf???? but then he pulled it back together at the end with the ode to the North End Zone! :clap: :clap: :clap:

Well, it's true that it's colder and louder when we're playing in December, which we're not doing as much lately.

Fantastic writ-up on Washington-Griz. Being born/raised/educated in Missoula and at UM I think it’s interesting to hear others perspectives on the city and Griz game-days. Proud to call this home, that’s for sure.

OK Belgrade, you did a great job for a cat fan. Every now and then I have to say good things about bobcats and you are among the few. Included are two of my grand kids about to graduate from msu. Good to have people post that are not grinding away against the Griz!
