Washington Grizzly ranked 10th in FCS stadiums

Taking out Kidd Brewer and Georgia Southern, since they are now FBS..

Here's my unbiased Top 10

1. Washington-Grizzly Stadium (Even most HONEST MSU fans know it's true), Montana

2. Fargo Dome, North Dakota State

3. Bridgeforth Stadium, James Madison

4. Bobcat Stadium, Montana State

5. Delaware Stadium, Delaware

6. BBVA Compass Stadium, Texas Southern

7. Cowboy Stadium, McNeese State

8. Finley Stadium, UT-Chattanooga

9. Jerry Richardson Stadium, UNC Charlotte

10. Alex G. Spanos Stadium, Cal Poly

Any fool would see what a joke this is  I went to cat stadium in November and noway is even in the same conversation as Wa Grizzly. The only thing that can be taken from this is we are in the off season and "stadium experts" need something to write about.

Nzone, I don't think HS recruits know the difference. However, I am sure the Cat recruits are seeing copies of this ranking. Also, since Bobcat Stadium was redone, the atmosphere does compare. Been to both many times and while I think Wa Griz stadium is a better facility, the game day atmosphere and tailgating at Bobcat stadium is about the same.

I'm pretty sure neither MSU or Griz players concern themselves with the Game Day atmosphere outside of the stadium, i.e tailgates, burning Griz toys in effigy, parking, trees, rivers, ect. If that is the player's concern on game days, it's no wonder both teams have sucked ass in the playoffs in recent years. Thos things are for the FANS and yes, MSU has improved in all those areas.

If it takes burning a teddy bear before each game for MSU to land recruits, than Ash isn't the recruiter I gave him credit for.

Like I said havgrizfan, recruits do not know the diffrance and I am sure you are right. But, I am sure the Cat coaches will show the rankings of the stadiums to recruits so they can see what type of atmosphere that they will be playing. It can be effective in recruiting.

And I can make a rating on bleacherreport that is just as valid. What's your point?

We can show this (http://www.kpax.com/news/washington-grizzly-stadium-tops-in-fcs/) to recruits too and it means just the same. I'd rather just hand them a card that reads 71-37-5.

You are right grizfan95, it's just another thing to show recruits. It's just that this just came out. I am sure every school uses what they can in landing recruits. So far, the Cats are having a really big recruiting year. We will see how it all plays out. I think you guys have a great stadium. Would never think it is "10. That is bogus.

And this from a wayyyyy more respected website.

Yes, KPAX is world renown I am sure. The whole point is, it's another thing to show recruits. We will see how it plays out in February when recruiting results are in. Looks like the Cats are having an outstanding recruiting year so far and it is not over yet. Both programs have excellent stadiums and game day atmosphere. I do think recruits look at that.

KPAX was quoting The Sporting Network's poll, which is actually a big deal in FCS. Just an FYI.

Well...for MOST Cats fans, this is no surprise. Other than the fact that your stadium is louder, colder, and bigger, I don't really see the problem. The rest of the world is realizing that is takes more than just "Winning" and "Tradition" to make a great stadium....It also takes a mud hole around 3/4 of it. You just need to realize something my wife has told me forever...SIZE DOESN'T MATTER!!!

This post is pure internet GOLD!!!  :thumb:

Thank you sir....You seem to be the only one to get it....
