Someone (grzfnz) needs math and distance lessons..... 1,500 feet is 500 yards........the alleged vcitim can't come to any games and 1,500 feet might only get her to one of the tailgates in the River Bowl. What if she does come to a game.....will police escort her away, or Johnson?

Good catch, thought I had typed the correct distance. That's what I get for typing on a cell phone. And while we're on the subject of lessons, it appears as if someone (mousegriz) needs a spelling lesson...its victim not vcitim.:-o

They take on cases pro bono because it may be encouraged or even required by the state bar.

In the case of Tru and Gerald, the lawyer did it because of their character and tremendous moral fiber.

Number 1. The girl does not have a "case" against Johnson.
Number 2. She is trying to shame J. Johnson via the Missoulian.
Number 3. The lawyer for this girl is at best an ambulance chaser.
Number 4. This poor girl will have her name and photo spread all over town etc. (sooner or later)
Number 5. Gwen Florio is having a great period of "hate bashing" the Griz and UM.
Number 6. Jordy Johnson's side of this story is unlike anything that has been in print.
Number 7 thru 100. The story will end with very little fanfaronade. The football team will play ball next season and no one will be shot over this waste of time and vague circumstance.
