If anyone wonders what the post ol' Expanded Jessie Spano just deleted, it was something along the lines of wondering what the uproar would be if a Cal Poly person yelled into a mic that he supported Cal Poly. Imagine the outrage! I might just not even care about it and then forget it happened!
 
Kinda makes you wonder if it is the same guy on both boards being overly concerned about nothing.

I guess we'll see if they both bitch about the reffing, Poly has gotten screwed on every call since football was invented.

But if you must know, Willy said the mic "dropped". If you know as much about production as you claim to on that freakishly bizarre manifesto your wrote on CP's site you ought to know that "drop" is a term audio techs use when they place a live mic to catch background sound. In fact, if you google it, you'll see that the term "mic drop" is used by a number of radio and tv stations when they solicit listener interaction.

In other words, a redshirting freshman knows more about the world than you do.

No.. to "drop" a mic does NOT mean you have placed a mic to catch a background sound.. HAha.. Nice attempt at creating reality.

Thanks for clearing that up.. Your QB somehow had a mic "drop" in front of him, and his "scramble" got it ;) right in front of his mouth .. and he plugged UM like a PR firm had created his statement.. right during (hopefully) a TD drive.. Appreciate you clearing that up ;)

Understand this: It doesn't mean jack shit to us how it happened. It was cool as FUKC, and we couldn't be more proud of Willy. I only wish he'd repeated it 3 or 4 times at higher volumes.

Actually...looking at the post you made on your own forum I'm pretty sure you are the only person on the internet discussing this like it was some huge conspiracy that needs to be explained. No one over there even replied to you pointing it out so you had to reply to yourself several times, which should tell you something...

Or maybe the Cal Poly fans are all in on the conspiracy too... :o
 
This is just stupid but if this turdstang must know what really happened, here's what I suspect:

ESPN had crowd mics posted in all four corners of the stadium, including one in the student section. The student section tends to get a little rowdy. I'm guessing all that rowdiness may have caused the crowd mic in that section to fall, hence, giving Pflug the opportunity to tell ESPN viewers about Montana's greatness.

Here let me help you Expanding Spandex: Oh yeah, microphones "don't just fall"... Has anyone tested the mounting bolts for traces of thermite? What about the men in brown and tan uniforms sweeping the stadium prior to the game? They looking suspiciously like Sheriff's deputies but no one is fooling me! And that pattern in the middle of the field??? That didn't get there by people walking around with boards. Something sinister/extra terrestrial is afoot in Missoula Montana. What kind of a name is Pflug anyway? Let him explain that one! (You're welcome)
