johnson just looked left, lifted his big toe and blinked twice. #johnsontrial #liveaction

Florio actually tweeted this, wtf

No she didn't...Glorio did.

And all it does is make certain Griz fans look like total assholes. Take this seriously, bro. This is a serious matter and it demands serious people. I know you think the whole thing is a sham, but we're beyond that point. Jordy is on trial and his life in many ways is at stake. I know that his counsel takes it much more seriously than Fwen Glorio does, and thank God that they do, because if the eponymous Fwen was defending Jordy, he wouldn't succeed on the merits.

Missoulian is providing live coverage of the opening statements as well. Problem: Fwen Glorio's tweets are more substantive than Gwen Florio's "investigative" reporting.

Pretty interesting start to this. Sounds like the defense is not very happy with getting all their objections overruled. Couple of those sounded like BS to me. That rape kit evidence might be the key to the trial. That and the one txt that I still don't even understand where she said something like "I don't think he did anything wrong". I don't know if the prosecution is going to say it was a typo and that she meant to say "I don't think HE THINKS he did anything wrong." because that makes more sense given the context of the rest of it. That would be another key piece right there. If the defense can prove that it wasn't a typo, maybe via some other texts or something... I think that would be enough for a "Not Guilty."

Apparently egriz is populated in part by 12 year olds who live in their mothers basement. I hope Fen realizes that no matter the outcome 2 people have had their lives altered irrevocably.

Point taken. However, my prior facetious statement stands, but I will refrain from posting such aforementioned statements in the future.

I don't like Gwen Florio. I think she is a total joke of a reporter and the #UMRape hashtag cemented it for me. I can't believe the Missoulian even let her report on this case. She is incredibly biased.

But this still is a serious matter. Joke away if you want about everything, but criminal trials are serious and they demand serious people. I have no love lost for Dave Paoli, but I am glad he at least takes this trial more seriously than Fwen Glorio.

I will take 1 Paoli over 500 of you. I have known Dave for 30 years, and he is a good man.

I think they are just getting it out there and framing it before the defense has the opportunity to do it. Probably connected to the statement by the prosecutor regarding victims often feel guilt and often recant stories.

All that is required is to create doubt because the jury will be instructed that the evidence presented must be BEYOND a reasonable doubt to find him guilty.

No, they are instructed that the evidence must be beyond a REASONABLE doubt, not beyond ALL doubt

He may be, in your eyes. That has nothing to do with the guilt or innocence of Johnson.

Dave is a great guy and he makes great spaghetti!!! The family thinks it is historical.

Nor did I say it did. Until you PROVE otherwise, Paoli trumps you every time

Now we have more 12 year olds, "my Dad could beat up your dad." If it were not for a couple of individuals this board would be impossible to read.

Then JJ should have no problems. This politically correct case should have never come to trial.

Is that what everyone says when the Government loses? Trial is for determining the facts. We don't know them all yet and 12 people will decide which ones to accept and deny. You don't know. I don't know. Let it play out.

I will not twit. I request some of you to put it on egriz for dogs like myself to check out and I appreciate the effort in you twitter folks doing so. Thanks.

Good luck to Jordy! His life will be forever changed .... even if he his found innocent!
