Wags to play in NFLPA bowl

I would agree with their comments that he's a "high motor" guy, but I don't know about "over achiever". He's a gifted kid making the most of his athletic ability. Does that make him an overachiever?

Absolutely Wags is an "over achiever" IMO. He actually gets more out of his "God given" ability. Mainly because of desire. Think of all of the "under achiever" types lately. Great physical specimens that don't amount to anything in the NFL. Being called an "over achiever" is not a knock IMO.....

Sounds to me like an adjective attached to a white defensive end.

Hmmm.Except I've never heard JJ Watt or Chris Long referred to in those terms...

Explain to me how getting the most out of your god-given ability makes you an overachiever? I seriously don't get it....You either "achieve" or you DON'T achieve...."over" achieving would imply you actually COULD give 120%, which isn't physically possible.

I don't think there is some kind of scientific explanation for an "over acheiver". I think it's
one of those "you know when you see it" type of things....

I think these "experts" see an overachiever as someone who comes from a small school and they are still surprised that they can play football. Despite the fact that Montana sent all 3 starting linebackers to pro-football out of last years draft year McShay and the other gurus still look at FCS players as good kids that played low competition and should not be able to compete at a high level, especially against FBS competition

Probably right, Putter. But interestingly, in THAT particular game, a large percentage of the players were from schoolers as small or smaller than Montana....I was shocked at the number of I-AA, D-II, D-III and even NAIA players there.

I am guessing Wags goes in the 5th or 6th round!

I would love to be called (or known as) an over achiever!!!!!
To me it is like having great skill and taking it to the next level!!!

Maybe this will help.

intr.v. o·ver·a·chieved, o·ver·a·chiev·ing, o·ver·a·chieves
To perform better or achieve more success than expected.

You'd think the guy had called him an "underachiever" or something.

This game should help Zach's stock as an NFL prospect. I'm thinking he gets drafted, similar round as Tripp.
