Seattle U reports they are committed to the WAC, and WAC commissioner says this:
Conferences need seven members to be "automatic qualifying" conferences, meaning their tournament champion gets an automatic bid to the NCAA basketball tournament.
Hogan said the WAC having the needed number of basketball-playing members is "not an issue. ... There's a lot of interest in the WAC. It's a changing landscape out there and in two, three years, who knows what it will look like."

With the 5 current WAC non-football members, add Bakersfield and UVSU and they would have the 7 BB members needed to continue as a non-football conference.
Wonder if the WAC will take a run at Cal Poly, UCD, Sac State and PSU as all sports members? All have expressed interest in the past. I see that as more likely than Idaho dropping to the BSC.
