Are you sure the setllement agreement wasn't an agreement that he resign?

Yes, nothing is said in the agreement about him resigning. There was no need. He had already been fired. The agreement says that for the release of his employment and other claims against the university, the university will pay certain dollar amounts and provide certain benefits to him.

I wasn't aware that fired was a legal term.........

Okay, try "terminated". That is the same thing as fired. The term "fired" is used all the time by lawyers, by the way.

...sounds more like an agreement between both parties to not coach the 2012 season & not renew the contract for 2013. Not convinced it falls into the "fired" category.

Nope, not even close. The coach never agreed not to coach, and would never have agreed to that. He believes he should still be the coach.

I'd have to see the written agreement to be convinced.

Let's bet $100 on whether or not the agreement provides for Pfugrad to resign. How does that sound?

Here's a better idea, how about someone post the resignation/termination agreement here. :coffee:

Let's bet first, and then I will post it. I'll give you some hints. The main claims by the coach were breach of contract and wrongful termination.

If you were right, you would have posted it already. I don't bet, I don't need to. I already know my dick is bigger than yours. A real man would put out the information for discussion.

Actually, a real man, especially one with a big mouth like you on this point, would agree to a modest bet this like. How about this: you'll quit posting if the release agreement doesn't have language calling for the coach's resignation?

Keep pretending you have inside information, it's fun to watch you play make believe..... :coffee:

It's public information. I've read and re-read the release agreement today, and read it last June too.

Come on, let's bet.

Look, don't make this more complicated than it needs to be. Either Pflugrad got fired or he quit. And he didn't quit. Whether his contract wasn't renewed or he was fired for cause, he was still fired. Lets move on.

+1, but I still think he agreed to resign.

I know Pflu fairly well, and I can guarantee you that he didn't resign. Jeez, you are dense beyond belief.
