anybody who thinks this is about blaming Engstrom for what the kids are doing is equally stupid.

Agreed. I was simply mocking those who want to fire the head coach whenever we lose (or, in the case of Bobby Hauck, when we failed to win solidly enough), and those who are quick to blame Florio and RE for anything and everything that goes wrong with the players.

Sure you were GG. This is a set up by haters of Delaney.......

How dumb can an athlete be.. hitting up a rave in the middle of bum f*** Egypt.. I know these guys are in college, but good grief.. you're on a pretty expensive scholarship, your program is already under a very large microscope, and going to an event like this is just asking for trouble. There will be plenty of opportunities to hit up "Bloodbath" or whatever in your post college life.. now is def not the time.

This is the me generation, me first, and forget about those after.

They are bulletproof, and don't think, it's the next episode that is important.

It's not going to change, why should it.

Occasionally, as with other posters, I position myself on one side of an issue or another to spark a debate or conversation. But, here are my real and true feelings about the trio of "villains" (RE, Florio, Mick D or next head coach to be targeted) - only for you, my Bobcat-loving friend. Don't tell anyone else  :
~I'm a big fan of Mick D. I like his personality, I like his attitude about holding players accountable and, unlike the majority, I'm ok with this mediocre, transitional season. I've had fun, I'm not freaking out about losing games, and I enjoy having some who measure their d*cks (and whatever the female equivalent is for the angry female fans) by Griz wins to be humbled a bit.
~I like Royce Engstrom. I've talked with him a couple of times and think he is a nice guy. I think those who judge his decisions can go ahead and do so but NONE of us have all of the information.
~As for Gwen, met her a time or two. As with RE, none of us have all of the information. Who knows what might come out? I sure don't and, unlike others, I'm not going to act like I do. I won't pass judgement and offer the benefit of the doubt to everyone, that is my nature.

Here's a list of answers to our problem for the next couple of games.
Do we pick from the pups... or do we move Poehls to tackle??

68 McCauley Todd FR 6-7 280

70 Ben Weyer FR 6-4 275

71 Devon Dietrich FR 6-5 260

64 Zachary Taves RS FR 6-4 260

74 John Schmaing RS FR 6-7 265

78 Clint LaRowe FR 6-5 250

79 Max Kelly FR 6-7 265

73 Samson Kaleikini RS FR 6-5 280

Or we could just start them all and have the cats o-line. Can't wait to see our guys push them around like the little boys they are.

So, I'm upset about Pflu and O'Day being fired, and it's purely because of my need for wins to measure certain anatomical parts.....interesting. Thanks for the session doc, I should've done this alooooooooooong time ago. Here I was thinking that it was because two good men were fired for ignoring an order, making him an ego centric prick. Let's see if he really believes in his direction, or if he was after one player.

Seems to me that the ones who are ok with the way things were handled regarding Pflu and O'Day are the shallow ones. Getting a tingle in the leg because "something was done," and not really giving a rat's ass that it was the equal of putting the lid down, but not flushing the toilet. Fucking joke how this has been handled.

Who cares about florio, boycotted the missoulian a long, long time ago.

Delaney needs to go because he's not cut out to be a head coach. And now, seems like a bad thing has happened on his watch. Seems like anybody that thought the removal of Pflu was a grand idea, should also be asking for this nice man to be gone.

I won't go that route, I don't think a head coach should be held responsible for stupid things that kids do off the field. Whomever does the crime, shall do the time. As I said, he needs to go just for the inept head coaching job.

Nice man? I'm sure, so's my grandpa, but he'd be a horrible fucking head coach.

Poole is gone, as per the new honor code. The coaches have no say in the discipline action. Good riddance (Sorry Elizajane, I'm sure he's a good kid but he knew the rules and he broke em). Hope going to a halloween rave was worth ending up at Southern Oregon or some other NAIA (Actually, send him to MSU-Northern, WE NEED O-LINEMAN) school to finish his football career.

Schmaing is already better than any o-linemen the Cats have outside of their center, which doesn't matter because that comparison is apples an oranges. Remember, they (Cats) didn't want Schmaing anyway. The Griz O-Line will be just fine and so will the program's image.

Well at least he didn't rape anyone which is more than can be said of some who were on your roster. That's a moral victory I guess.

Maybe it is just me, but I remember thinking I was pretty bulletproof when I was their age. Back then I thought that only idiots got caught. But again, maybe I am the only one that was like that.

It isn't today's generation. It is every generation of young adult males.

And he didn't murder anyone which is more than can be said of some who were on the boobcats roster. Which is just a victory.
