vs. University of Idaho

Michael is really hurt. He fell hard...I'd be surprised if he plays anymore tonight and hopefully it is not serious.

Oguine will be sore for awhile from that fall. I've done that before, it hurts for a few days. I hope it's not more serious.

I hope Montana never has a year as bad as Idaho is having. That has to depress their fans and players, not to mention recruiting. Still, I enjoy it...is that wrong?

Defense was great, for the most part. Oguine looked more like himself in the 2nd half. He should be back to normal in a few days. Rorie shot terrific, hope he continues that. Back home next weekend.

Ugly, but road win. Oguine is in our thoughts and prayers tonight. We need him healthy. Bad.

Let's hope this looked worse than it was.

Fortunately for Oguine, he doesn't have a lot of weight coming down the way he did. He should be fine.

69-51 Griz. Final.
Griz did what a good team is supposed to do against a young team like Idaho, put them away. Good finish.
Thought this was worth repeating:

Okay ... credit where credit is due. The Griz can't shoot for sour apples (whatever that means) a lot of the time, but they sure can play D when they put their minds to it. That 7-8 minute stretch was unbelievable.
The Griz actually improved their shooting on twos, but still only ended up at about 42% (not terrible, but not great either). But they only hit a third of their treys and shot 57% from the foul line (that's got to get better).

But on defense: According to the gamecast, the Spuds were held at 46 points from 9:19 to 2:52 min left in the second half. (So I over-stated the time a bit.) That was the game, in a nutshell.
