Well, a 6 pt lead at half time is not that impressive against one of the worst Idaho teams in decades.
 
Is Oguine playing as well this year compared to last year? Amazing athlete and I thought he was the best player on the team last year.

I feel like it's a down year for him. Not sure if the stats back it up. He leads the team in FT which means he is being aggressive, which seems odd to me as I don't feel like he is attacking the rim as much as he did last year. As I said before, I think that has to do with the lane being clogged by Akoh and the defenders he attracts. That could be cured with some dangerous shooters. You know, like Manuel.

So is falls, the kid is to careless with the ball and not that great of a shooter. For a short while both of them were on the floor together. Don't understand that rotation at all.If I was Idaho I would dare either one to shoot every time and take my chances.

I still think Oguine is the outstanding player on this team, but he seems to want others to score, content to assist or rebound, and that might be the problem with this team. They just don't seem to have a floor leader like Kriskovic last year. Still, they are winning more than losing, so there's that...

Agree. He is playing very tentative this year. He is smart, maybe just being a team player, but we need the old him.
 
This GRIZ team needs to be more consistent moving the ball efficiently. The GRIZ either do it extremely well, or below average. There really is not much in between for them this season. Defense looks solid. Moorehead is fortunate, he is such a terrific defender. If anyone had told me, during or after his FR season, he would be an offensive liability, I would have strongly disagreed with that. I honestly cannot recall a GRIZ with a promising FR year, then not improve offensively for the rest of his career.

I hope we see more of Manuel and Dorsey in the 2nd half. Dorsey teams with Akoh well. Manuel is the only consistent 3 point threat, game in, game out. Rorie is shooting it well, hope it continues. Speaking of shooting, does anyone recall Falls having a low line drive follow through last season? I don't recall. This season, it is absolutely driving me crazy. If he will elevate his shot, he again will be a consistent 3 pt shooter!!!! I honestly don't know why, it isn't fixed. It is a quick fix.

Hopefully just a sophomore slump. I thought he played well for a true freshman last year.
