MBBALL Vs. NCU

We haven’t had a true PG all year. Money’s ball handling and TOs aren’t good enough for him to run the point. Kepley just isn’t good either. We gotta find a PG in the portal. That’s the number one need. We’re also gonna have to re-vamp the front court as well (which I’m ok with) with Sawyer and Taylor both graduating. Hopefully Betts and Anderson get back to full health for next year. I really liked what I saw from Anderson before the injury. The season will be over next week and then we can start moving forward on remaking the roster.

Who do you all think is the leader out there? I hate saying it but Money isn’t it. Sawyer isn’t it. Besides desperately needing point guards, this team is lacking a true leader. Just zero accountability there. It’s been a fun season at times but most of the time I just want to rip the remaining hair I have left out of my head. Just doesn’t seem like the right team was built this year. Adapt to this portal or die I guess.

Betts is about the only one with much fire out there...
 
Agreed but I would put a good amount of money down that he will play his last game as a grizzly in Boise. It’s too bad because the kid plays his ass off. Hope I’m wrong.

Where’s he gonna go? He hardly played at all this year with the injury. If he gets in the portal he’s likely not gonna land at another D1 school. If you’re referring to Hicks, then ya that has me slightly concerned.

Yeah I think he meant to say Hicks. You are correct, Betts hardly played at all. Hicks is the one I could see leaving.
 
I do not see any Griz player – even Money – having much of a Portal future, unless the Griz have a miraculous run in the Tournament. Except if the Griz player is willing to trade PT (Playing Time) for whatever they see at UM. There are some really inept squads at some other one-bid conferences.
