Vs. Id St

Ronbo, have you looked at ISU's schedule? Utah State, BYU, Utah, Wisconsin, Hawaii, Boise State, Washington State, Wisconsin Green-Bay, Nevada, Arizona State, Kansas State, EWU and PSU are ISU's losses.. They've played a brutal schedule.

Isn't this a 4-13 team the Griz are playing tonight? How in the world did these guys go 9-7 so far. They'll be lucky to end up .500 this season. All the good teams will sweep them.

If I recall, ISU had one of the toughest ooc schedules in ze nation for mid-majors.

Watched the game on bigskytv. The thing that strikes me about this year's Griz team is the lack of quickness. With the exception of AJ, we are pretty darn slow at every position. This is where the loss of CET really hurts. You can't coach quickness. You can recruit it, however. It also may be time to have Stauds come off of the bench. :(

Listened to the game while trying to get some work done, it went pretty much like I expected. Looking at the schedule I kind of expected the Griz to get swept on this trip, and with Weber losing to MSU that seems more likely. But ISU is a pretty good team this year, definitely top 1/2 of the BSC, so this road loss won't hurt a bunch, except the way the schedule goes with 3 at home, 3 on the road 3 straight losses will test the teams resolve - I don't think Montana was as good as their 3-1 record indicated, that had a lot to do with the schedule. But looking ahead with 2 more road games, then home against UNC and PSU and Montana could/will probably be 4-5 in conference, with 4 of their last 7 games on the road.

Hopefully WT will keep the guys heads up after this weekend and they will work through the road games and win the home games plus steal a road game. I really hope it doesn't come down to beating UNC on the road in the last game of the year to make the tourney, I think UNC is a better team (maybe not more talented, but a better, more consistent team) and a loss there to knock UM out of the tourney would be devastating to the team and support, although it shouldn't be unexpected at this point.

I have been thinking the same thing for awhile and I agree. When and if CET makes his comeback, In my opinion, I think the smartest thing to do is start CET and AJ and bring Stauds off the bench. Plus, with CET back in the starting lineup it will move AJ back to his natural position. I refuse to/dont ever want to see Tinkle starting CET and Stauds and bringing AJ off the bench. I am pretty sure AJ has established him self as a starter from here on out.

"He raped the arm with his arm." Why the f*ck are we listening to this?

I said "he raked his arm", not "raped". That would bring some really weird thoughts to mind, wouldn't it?

Anyway...I love you Griz fans...you hate other teams announcers, just like you should. I would be disappointed in you if you felt otherwise. Mick's a great announcer, yet our fans hate him when they watch us play on BSTV in Missoula. That's the name of the game.

BTW, coming into tonight's game, RPI on ISU's schedule was the 5th most-difficult in the season to date...out of 343 teams...including majors.

Good luck at Weber. I hope you kick em all the way out of that ugly purple palace!

I think they beat Utah unless they played them twice and lost one.

They beat Utah.
They also lost to Long Beach State.

Idaho State had the toughest non-Con schedule in the Big Sky and is currently ranked 17th toughest schedule in the country. That rank will drop as the play more conference games.

BTW

2. Weber #96
3. NAU #151
4. EWU #195

This is why I've been hoping to see more of Stockton. Despite his lack of experience, in the few games I've seen him play on TV he's done a good job of pushing the ball on offense without playing out of control and getting the ball to people in a position to score. And he's also been aggressive on defense. He's scored few points, but in the limited minutes I've seen him he's produced quite a few assists, steals and even rebounds, and no turnovers that I remember. I don't know that you'd call him fast, but he is quick and smart.
