This has been edited from a few weeks ago.....
If you've been following the Capital One Mascot Challenge and putting your votes in for Monte you'll see that we had what appeared to be an easy week against LSU's Mike the Tiger, until last week he won just one match up, yet after way behind he managed to pull off a big win. I'm fairly positive based on some posts on this site and watching the voting that other schools are purposely voting against other mascots. Unfortunately if they are going to do that then I think Griz Nation should jump into the game they are playing as well.
This week we are up against the Oregon Duck who has been slaughtered every week (currently 0-7). If the Duck beats Monte then well there is no denying this is getting ridiculous with the voting. I would really like to see Sparty go down, who is again against Cam the Ram, he is in second place.
Rocky the Bull and Peedee the Pirate are matched up this week, that should be a fun one to see which school can out automate the other one in votes, it's already a 51% to 49% race. From a Monte stand point we need Peedee the Pirate to win this one and hand Rocky the Bull a loss for once.
For anyone that is still following this mascot race I think this is what we should be shooting for in week 8. We need as many people to vote as possible!
