Vigen to Washington State... is it a distraction during Championship week?

I want you to look at this past season on egriz, and find whatever you want to back up what you said and lied about. I am sometimes wrong about the Cats, although not much in the past 2 years, and I say some things to rile up the Cats. Feel free to find what you want, and I'll tell you which it is. I have been wrong about the Cats about 1/10 of the times you have been wrong about the Cats, and you are mostly wrong about the Griz. You consistently say some of the wildest and dumbest things, and are wrong more than any other non-idiot poster on the board. And you are fairly prolific. You also consistently make up stuff about me and what I said, or outright lie about it. You make all-world comments about the Cats every year; maybe you will be closer to fulfilling that dream this year.

kwcat on bn and tom have said so. Both have more inside knowledge than nearly anyone on bn. Vigen met with the team Thursday night to clear up rumors. On top of this I have heard from many people close to Vigen that he had met with Wazzu to talk numbers.

So, on Thursday he was still in negotiations and didn't know would happen, and then by Saturday the job went elsewhere? And on Thursday he still didn't know WSU would want someone right away? One would have thought that important point would have come up clearly much earlier. My guess is that none of the people you mentioned were up to speed on the discussions. And you showed that you didn't have a clue.

Look man you can say whatever you want but I know I’m correct because many people close to Vigen and MSU have assured me. WSU focused on high level FCS coaches so that they could drop pay from 2.5 million to 1.5 million. 1.5 is still a massive increase for any FCS coach. It was between Vigen and Rodgers and Wazzu wanted their coach to get there asap. Vigen was their first pick but when he said he wouldn’t leave before the NC they decided on Rodgers.

Look man, I don't believe you. Coaches don't spill all the beans about their discussions like that. And, judging by what was reported earlier by other press, it looks like the discussions you mentioned had occurred or so at least a week ago.

From what I am hearing, what soured Wazzu on Vigen was his salary demands. Had nothing to do with wanting him to leave MSU prior to the Championship game.

So let’s see if I got this straight. You think vegan called the team meeting to discuss “rumors”? And this was after he and wazzu met to “talk numbers”. What rumors needed to be cleared up? Sounds like the negotiations were not rumors at all.
 
So the cats 6th choice for head coach in 2021, winning the job only after other candidates dropped out, was “offered” the WSU job but during “negotiations” he asked for too much money so WSU went in a different direction.

Sounds like someone needs to bone-up on basic job seeking skills. Maybe INDEED has videos? YouTube?

He met with the team because people wanted to know what was going on. He was previously flown to Nevada to negotiate and talk in person. Obviously Wazzu wanted a coach there asap so they took Rodgers. You can bs all you want but I have multiple sources close to Vigen that have all told me the same things.
