Vigen Sighting

Dude has had one foot out the door since day one.

He and his staff literally have no connection fudge with Montana except pending criminal trials.

Imagine hating your job and the city it’s in, and the only reason you continue with it is because of a court order. About as close to an indentured servant as possible

Where is your proof that vigen has one foot out the door and hates his job, and city?
Are you being serious rn? Can’t tell when you guys are trolling sometimes. If serious, please refer to my second sentence in the post you quoted.

Why should I have to prove he wants to stay? It’s obvious, and written all over their faces. Did you see his presser this week? Did you see his OC’s? Like they were on death row. Who would want to stay there longer than necessary?

Where is your proof that he wants to stay? He has no connection to the state and his name is coming up for every possible opening. You think that’s by accident?

His name keeps coming up because of his track record of success. All the jobs that his name is mentioned for pays way more than what he is getting paid at MSU.

Not trolling, just trying to get where your accusations come from.

As for your 2nd paragraph how did you expect vigen and his coaches to look at the presser they just lost a rivalry game right before the start of the playoffs, anything else and that would be concerning.

With your 3rd paragraph it's called networking and getting your name out there, lots of people move from place to place to place all the time.

I am amazed, appalled actually, at the level of ignorance displayed on eGriz by some posters regarding those three scat coaches and the Montana legal system. This is all complicated by MSdUi Administration and Prosecutors colluding under the WAAC Algorithm. 'Arrest' and 'Cited' are two different words with different meanings, but used by Bozo media to play down the these three did. Another gem thrown in here are travel restrictions. Ya gotta be found guilty, first. THEN you are sentenced to a fine/jail time/restitution. These are misdemeanors after all. Hanging is off the table.
Long ago, I was told, after a graduation, that my education continues, informally, for life. Some of you have a LONG, LONG road ahead of you.

How realistically attractive do you think Sixx is to these other programs? Given his Low-Energy Syndrome (LES) diagnosis, lack of a proven recruiting track record and his belief in pacifism?

Serious question.

Not necessarily true. Depending on the conditions of bail, you may be restricted from interstate travel while out on bail awaiting trial. The point of travel restrictions while out on bail is to prevent the criminal defendant from bolting. There was a very popular reality TV show all about it. I don't think anyone suggested that the DUI coaches should be prevented from traveling, just questions regarding the conditions of their bail.

I appreciate your input, Counselor. Being a non-lawyer, I didn't want to post a Tolstoy long treatise. Did you realize that this is the one year anniversary of Garza's arrest? And still no plea or trial. Oh, well, after NDSU curb stomps the scats Saturday, he, and the others, can get back to the business long delayed.

The bub staff has to pray to God every night Sixx doesn't take another job. Because no other university on the planet would allow him to bring those criminals along, and no other university other than WAAC MsdUi would hire them.

Great point. Waded’s Angels are likely unhireable at least until the criminal matters are fully adjudicated.

Nope. His name keeps coming up because the industry knows he is available. He wants out and everyone knows it. Especially the recruits. They might be young but not dumb.

If it were based on success as you claim, why isn’t Nick Saban being mentioned for these openings or any job?

Entz is more than likely gone to be a DC.

I doubt Vigan goes anywhere because seriously, who would want him? Not New Mexico St

Do these schools looking for a new head coach look at candidates just because they are available? Not!

And this was all brought on by administrative interference by MSU. Could have taken the high road and suspended the coaches involved. Would have been all in over by now. The sh*t is about to hit the fan, big time. The Three Stooges, Vigen, Costello, and of course Cruzado are all tainted goods. Like Nixon and Watergate, it's the coverup that is damning. :thumb: 8-)

I don’t even know what that means. Not jokes haven’t been funny since nineteen-ninety-never.

We were discussing why Sixx’s name keeps coming up on these lists—media lists—not the “schools” list. Good grief, we never see the real list from the school as your boy “Sixx” can confirm. If we did, his nickname would probably be “niner” or maybe “craps”.

Why isn’t BH’s name coming up on these lists? As the winningest coach in BSC history and most recent COY, surely he is more “successful” than Sixxer. Or is he unavailable?

Coach vegan has yet to win a big game, and the only thing he has proven is how important bracket placement can be. It’s written all over his face this week. Like he can see a steamroller coming from a mile away but doesn’t care enough to jump out of the way

No, they exclusively go after the ones who are not interested in leaving their current job and/or haven't outwardly expressed interest in the opening.

Yes, in some cases they do go after coaches that not have expressed interest outwardly.

Interest that fans are aware of is different than a coach's interest. When a certain name keeps popping up for these types of jobs, it can be a sign that feelers have been extended. Not always, but often. If you add in all the off-the-field drama, I know I would be looking for any way out if I were Sixx.

You are right, not always but often. I think the off field drama is something that has been highly exaggerated on here. It has been a focus on many threads on here. Not so much or at all anywhere else. I don't know of many FCS head coaches that are not interested when an FBS school shows interest in them. Especially when the salary difference is so substantial. Yes there are those coaches who for one reason or another are satisfied with where they are and not looking to move up. Being a FCS head coach is a stepping stone job.
