Yeah, many HCs go on recruiting trips during the playoffs. The recruiting takes precedence over scheming for the upcoming elimination game. Very common.

They did get three commitments last week.

Commitment 1: To tackle better

Commitment 2: To pass to receivers not open ground

Commitment 3: To never underestimate the Grizzlies

Already better than the starters, no doubt.

And I would believe that Sixx was on a recruiting trip. I mean, it's highly likely that most on his staff are prohibited to leave the state by their parole release. Someone's gotta do the work after all.

Nobody cares about Vegans not even the one that got boatraced last weekend.

Why anyone cares about state or anything about them is beyond me.

They are not even a blip on our radar

Yes, hard for the assistants to travel when they are in leg chains while out on parole.

They should really chain their arms so they can't lift any more of those gin spritzers.

Ankle monitors don’t allow them to leave the county….

They aren’t out on parole, but they are out on bail awaiting trial. Cashing checks from the state.

This totally explains why we beat our Rivals to end the regular season. Their coach was distracted. I knew it!

This is not an anomaly. You can’t blame the coach. A sixth choice, low-energy pacifist. Three- four miserable losing years at NM and he and Mommy can start that cactus farm they have always dreamed of.

It’s not a secret that the last two cat coaches wanted out of Bozeman. Choad is living large in Austin and Ron Ash is sailing the Gulf of Mexico with a 20-something topless Nicaraguan girl.

Where do I sign up? Without Ron there, of course…

Good luck, my friend. There are only two, well actually 3 things that Ron truly cares about these days. The Chardonnay, his 32’ single mast sloop, and ‘righty’ and ‘lefty’.

There is a pretty good chance Coach Sixx will be on the sidelines for the New Mexico home opener next fall. :D

Sounds like Joe Glenn in November 2002.
Lost 3 of his last 4 games after a 35-2 run. Blind loyalty to Edwards cost the streak-ending loss to MSDUI at home.

This 'sudden' implosion, I surmised, had something to do with him having the Wyoming job in his pocket. I find it hard to believe the Cowboys waited until those losses were 'in the book', then rushed over to Glenn and offer him the job and agreed to contract terms all in one day. Glenn hit the road shortly after that last loss, like he was in a hurry to 'get out of Dodge.'
Glenn didn't like 'The Streak' due to the amount of pressure it put on the players. Edwards played with an injured shoulder and knew he shouldn't play, but Glenn OK'd it, because 'he got us to where we were.' Hence the blind loyalty angle. Glenn appeared distracted then, like Vigen appears now. Coincidence?
