Lost 3 of his last 4 games after a 35-2 run. Blind loyalty to Edwards cost the streak-ending loss to MSDUI at home.

This 'sudden' implosion, I surmised, had something to do with him having the Wyoming job in his pocket. I find it hard to believe the Cowboys waited until those losses were 'in the book', then rushed over to Glenn and offer him the job and agreed to contract terms all in one day. Glenn hit the road shortly after that last loss, like he was in a hurry to 'get out of Dodge.'
Glenn didn't like 'The Streak' due to the amount of pressure it put on the players. Edwards played with an injured shoulder and knew he shouldn't play, but Glenn OK'd it, because 'he got us to where we were.' Hence the blind loyalty angle.
