I'm moving into a new house tomorrow. Internet and TV service will not be set up yet. If i buy a TV antenna (bunny ears), would i get the local channel they are playing the game on? Other option is subscribing to ESPN + and streaming it from my phone, but i don't trust my cell reception enough to rely on that. Yes the house is in Missoula.

Any advice would be great!

Thanks

Yes, an antenna will get you the local channel the game will be aired on. :thumb:

I went cheapo amazon special but I’m sure any electronic store should have what you need since you have limited time

Walmart, Target... stores like them will have antennas.

Just a thought - but this antenna you’re buying is probably only going to be used once, right?

I wonder how many beers you could get for the price of the antenna if you just went to a bar to watch the game?

I live in Ronan and get 20 channels off an antenna including abc/fox. Will have to go somewhere for the Root away games but I plan on doing so. I am a season ticket holder so I am not worried about the home games.

I know man, trust me I'd rather do that. But i couldn't in good conscience leave my pregnant wife and kids (age 2 & 4) to move into the house and all the work that goes along with it. While i sit at the bar and watch the game.

I live in salmon Idaho and get montana abc, fox and swx with an antenna... it's a godsend as my locals are Idaho falls. I built a fractal antenna for a few dollars but also have a flat window mount one for my shop tv with a booster that works as good. Best buy or Wal-Mart should have what you need.. they are cheap..

As opposed to the time away to go out and shop for an antenna and the attention they would get from you while the Griz game was on. I understand.

i plan on buying an attenna on my lunch break today. should take about 5 minutes.

You should be fine with an antenna, however make sure you test it out tonight. I also live in Missoula & a couple years ago I tried setting up an antenna at my house. I live off N Reserve & Expressway and for some reason an antenna would not work in my neighborhood, most likely due to how close we were to the hill behind our house. However, if you live in most areas of Missoula, you should be good. Good luck!
