Seems like the one announcer called it almost before the official could get his hanky out.putter said:Noticed SELA runs a lot of pic plays. The one in the first quarter on their big pass play should have been called. It was a flat out block of the DB to get the TE open. Also, on the OPI, even the announcer called it. Once you slow it down it did not look bad and I don't know if those calls can be reviewed. I like out matchups with their DB's, I just hope we can get pressure on the QB.

The YAC might be what impressed us the most. Admittedly, the 'Nova secondary had been super banged up and they were playing some "warm bodies" out there ... but still.kemajic said:Impressive passing game, accurate passer, receivers who catch the ball and get a lot of YAC. This is not going to be easy.
We watched our recording of the game and, as noted before, the worrisome part about their receivers is their YAC. Luckily, I do not think they will have the same success next week. Yes, the Griz secondary has not been stellar ... but they are way more skilled and have more speed and quickness that what 'Nova was about to put out there. From what the announcers said, the Wildcats were scraping the bottom of the barrel in the secondary ... because of injuries.hm.grwn.grizfan said:Our secondary is going to have problems with that QB and his receivers. If our offense can keep up this ones going to be a shootout
Apparently they don't teach their backup DB's to tackle...I've never witnessed worse tackling in my life than in that video.FireGriz said:Either Villanova is the worst tackling team in football or SELA cloned young Barry Sanders a couple times.
