All this team needs to do is hang on to the damn ball. All the superior knowledge people of the game with all your bright ideas need to realize, there is only one solution. Stop the TURNOVERS! It is as simple as that.


Don't fire coaches!
Don't make excuses for coaches!
Don't make excuses for players!

Yup. Seems so simple to me. But I admit that I don't know how you teach/make players hang onto the ball. I would have thought Bobby, of all people, could do, or have done that.

How can we hang onto the ball in some or most games, and have these god alful TO games? It's a mystery to me.
 
Bobby probably wishes he knew too. A staggering number of turnovers and drops. They are probably shell-shocked by now. It might be hard to turn the ship around.
 
Some of it has to do with doing pushing harder to get extra yards. Fighting for those extra yards makes great highlights (who doesn’t love dragging defenders), but it exposes players to the strip. The simple solution is both hands on the ball when in contact. Yes the YAC might drop, but that is preferable to the turnover.
 
Y'all just need to give the man some time. There are going to be growing pains like losing at home to Portland State and losing by 430 points to NDU on the road. All of you jackasses who expected the moon this year need to realize the man needs some time to make sure this doesn't happen again. Any coach would go down 41-0 to NDU after inheriting the mess Stitt left.

finally, someone who realizes that stitt recruited a bunch of weak-handed players. the fact that their hand strength never improved under bobby's hand strengthening coach only proves it. who was the recruiting coordinator, again? justin green? good thing he's gone.

It's all about needing some time to undo what was done. I agree that this one is on Stitt. Bobby and staff can't just right this ship overnight like some expect.
 
I think Bobby does have the answer. However, He has been ridiculed by so many and judged by his past methods that just maybe he is holding his tongue and his old methods. All the huggers out there that didn't like Bobbies past way, are you happy now?
 
In Traffic. Protect the Pigskin. Both hands if necessary. and Carry a football every where you go until the Next Saturday. To class, on a date, to dinner, to bed. Maybe being ridiculed by your teachers, teammates,Classmates, Girl friends,etc. will help if you ever see playing time again
