As much as I'd like to, I can't really get on him too much...after all Vernon was one 1+1=3 answer away from it happening.

Wait, you don't think he's an NFL QB, do you? He's a great pitch and catch guy, but I wouldn't really trust anyone who says he has an NFL arm. Maybe I'm wrong.

No. But he will get a chance from some desperate owner who wants to try out a novelty offense. My prediction is VA will have an over-hyped, but ultimately mediocre first year in the NFL and look for a spot on special teams thereafter.

That's kind of what I'm thinking. He's a tremendous athlete who knows the game. He could get some looks, but I don't think it will be as a QB. I certainly hope I'm wrong. It would be rad to see another FCS QB succeed in the NFL.

That's what I think, too. Dude will pitch it all over the yard in the CFL. That said, he's proved me wrong every step of the way, so maybe he'll be an NFL Hall of Famer. I'd love to see it.
