Gregorek has made Adams what he was
Haha, real funny. Adams played well against the Griz some, but here's how he did the last game:
182 yards passing. Next lowest game was 298.
5.2 yards per attempt. Lowest of season. Next lowest yards per attempt was 6.3, and that was the only other game under 8.3 yards per attempt.
5 sacks. Only UW was more, at 6. Prior UM game was also 5 sacks.
2 TD's. Tied for lowest of the season.
Ill. St. allowed 425 yards and 9.7 per attempt against EWU in the EWU's last game of season.

There is a reason you only picked the last game he played coming off an injury. It's ok everyone knows your agenda

Alpha feels VA is overrated and is not as good as his stats make him look. I actually feel Alpha has a legitimate point. He has thrown up so many jump balls just to have his WR's bail him out on a questionable decision. Some will argue, it is not a bad decision if his WR ends up with ball. It is hard to argue that as well. However, many coaches would prefer a qb not throw crap like that. He is fortunate to have gotten away with bad decisions in the conference. He will not be as successful doing that at the BCS level or the NFL.
I'd take Armanti Edwards during his college career over Adams at QB. Edwards was actually a pretty disciplined QB and good decision maker. I will pull for Adams to do well at Oregon. Not because of Adams, but because I pull for the BCS teams in the west to win a championship.

This is what Alpha said: "Gregorek has made Adams what he was". That is not accurate, and I certainly don't agree with it. From your post, you don't agree with it either. I countered Alpha's comment, at least indirectly, by providing the stats of the very last game UM had played VA. Gregorak didn't make VA in that game. In fact, in 2014, UM sacked VA 10 times (5 in each game, and the 2d most of any time other than UW). Alpha said I cherry-picked stats from the first game VA returned from injury, but that wasn't accurate.\
As for your post, I used to think that VA was lucky on so many of his passes, like the jump balls, but I changed my mind as time went on--because VA and his receivers consistently caught the ball. If someone is lucky all the time, or almost all the time, then I think they may be more good than lucky. I too might take Edwards over VA. However, VA is very talented, and he could be terrific in the Oregon offense and with their talent. Not having worked out with the team all summer and being late for fall camp, isn't going to help him, though.
As for you comments about the level of competition, how do you explain VA's tremendous stats and results against UW and Oregon St? Truly amazing stats. UW - 475 yards, 7 TD's, no interceptions, and 67.4%. OSU - 411 yards, 4 TD's, no interceptions, 76.7%, and 16 carries for 107 yards and 2 TD's. Personally, I don't think his stats and results against UW and OSU are attributable to luck--and obviously that wasn't against FCS competition. Note the zero interceptions.
