Most Outstanding Player:

Vaughn Autry, SG, Citrus Very simply, Vaughn was the most impressive player on the most impressive team in the event. Citrus went 4-0 for the weekend, including an eye-popping 49-point win over a very solid Miramar team in which Autry had 15 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals. He's a bounceback from the University of Montana who was a key part of Serra (Gardena's) 2009 California State Division III champions, and figures to continue what has become a tradition of dominance at Citrus.

I wish him well too. I know I was high on him here. The biggest ? from this past season is what or why kept him from more playing time, especially with our guard struggles this year, other than Cherry. I have a feeling this is one we will wish did not get away.

Good to hear he is doing good. It's been speculated on here that his refusal to red-shirt put him in a bad spot with the coaches and that may have hurt his PT, I could see that being the case. The kid has potential and could be a dandy pick-up for someone.

Good for him! Sounds like he will have a chance to have a very nice JUCO season and then hook up with a college out west for his last 2 years. It will be interesting to see how his career turns out.
