179.6. .6 below the Western Kentucky qb. 2d in nation in average per completion (14.78). 25 TD passes. Had broken index finger on this throwing hand for several games. Mariota was 181.7, 167.7 and 163.2 in his 3 years at Oregon.

He didn't look totally comfortable the first game or two but really came on after that, good for him.

Not saying he's CFL bound or a CFL caliber talent. I'm rooting for him. Simply saying that if things didn't work out in the nfl ( they often don't) his abilities are Taylor-made for that league. That is all.

It's not a bad league, though I know it's not the SHOW!!! It's a different game up here but it's a quality game. Warren Moon was a decent QB in both leagues. Lulay had a couple good years up here and Bo Levi Mitchell was a finalist for MVP this year. Mike Reilly out of Montana and Central Washington just lead Edmonton to the 103rd Grey Cup. Hope VA makes the NFL but if not the league that got Cameron Wake seasoned up could use him.
