VA and the Ducks against the mighty Spartans.

adams is not a breakaway running threat at fbs level. too slow andvthat will hurt oregon offense. good qb but not great

His speed at FBS level is a concern, one click slower makes a huge difference. I am impressed with his quick grasp of ducks schemes in a few weeks. He is a serviceable qb in that system and a good enough athlete to run it. Oregons offense however surprises no one as good d coordinators pretty much figure it out....way too much speed on d side on upper levels of FBS now. VA will need to continually adjust to a faster game.

He's still fast, he just hesitates a lot. He seemed very nervous and unsure of what he should be doing.

Oh and I didn't see a lot of prancing and dancing around like he usually does.

I bet by the end of the season, he'll feel like a member of the team and he'll get back to his cocky bullshit again.

Oregon's offense may not offer any surprises, but only one opponent last year held them to less than 38 points and they put 50-60 on several. And it was not by any means just Mariota piling up those points

Now Adams is no Mariota, and almost certainly never will be, even if [when?] he adjusts to the difference in speed. Again, let's not overlook the fact that Oregon put 28 points on the #5 team in the country, and fell just one FG short, on the road. And Michigan State's strength is really its defense.
