Surprised it took Mr Consistency this long to show up. Aren't their other threads on here that need your anti-Stitt contribution as well?

What are you talking about. Coach Stitt said so himself. The Earth is round. I was skeptical, and well.. ya.

FIFY

Sorry. Stitt is perfect. Griz are awesome.

Just having a little fun at your expense....

TE's are completely unnecessary.....big slot WR's are much better....

That can play up on the line and provide pass protection... aka a TE.

No....they are not TE's....they are just big WR's....

That can block a DE or a blitzing LB. That's a TE.

Keep spinnin.

Think you are missing the point.....but keep fighting the good fight....

It's cool. I've been right about virtually everything since Stitt took over. I understand your resentment dude.

U can call me Ray or U can call me Wayout or U can?

In the end it's not what you call em:

Tight end. No end. Slot. Wide Slash. Wider outer. Far out. Far end. Wide receiver. Narrow-out Wider. Catcher. Flats in. Blonde beauty. On and on.

The job is moving the ball. Call it air ball, more ball, long ball and my favorite High Ball!

Stitt has mentioned he has not displayed his TOTAL offense yet. A 220 pound receiver is simply one of the bunch!
When he thinks we are able to be taught he will let us in on IT. In the meantime you will flunk "Stitt's 101 football class" if you put the word Tight End on a receiver.

Why don't you make a point then?

Is your point the Griz don't need TE's, rather big physical WR's who can do everything a TE does.

I saw a guy lined up right behind the outside shoulder of the tackle, not in the slot. Often providing much needed pass protection.

my point....no matter what they do on the field, Stitt will never have TE's....he will always refer to them and list them as WR's....sorry you struggle to understand sarcasm.....

Weren't you the jackass that went on the T-buff's message board to talk shit prior to the playoff game?

Yeah. What are you gonna do about it? Nothing.

Finding it hard to adjust to the pride and tradition of the timid and the weak.

That's logical. Makes total sense.

So you are that jackass. Makes sense.
And I am going to do something about it: I going to keep reminding you that you are a jackass.

Real tight ends run 245; think Beaudin, Pfahler, Ralston. Guys that can run block in short yardage situations or grab balls from undermatched DBs in the red zone. No tight end goes a long way to explain our performance in the red zone.

Chief- I think this will be more evident next season with the rumor of Ralston going back to this role and Bingham showing future talent at this position as well.

I hope so. I thought Horner's role later in the season was a positive adjustment to the original Stitt offense.

You should be pleased with the fact that Stitt recognized his personnel and adjusted according to areas that do not fit his offense yet. Maybe not innovative, but smart to use the talent on the team to the best of their ability until he is fully stocked for his offense. We had a weak o-line last year and didn't have the right slot wr for his offense.

:o GREAT POST, go96griz. Spot on.
