Hope he brings some big boy football skills with him
Here are his JUCO stats which got him a schollie at USC. Doesn’t look awful:His stats will impress everyone on this site.
I will combine them
2023 and 2024 Stat line
3 games 2 rushes for zero yards.
This guy was born to play under Hauck. If you don't throw, you can't have interceptions.
He's perfect, #ChattyNatty here we come!!!
Certainly doesn't seem like a "you're the guy if you come here" type of move, for sure. This makes it even more apparent that Ah Yat is the guy.
Since he was Juco he gets the extra eligibility, correct? Here are his JUCO stats which got him a schollie at USC. Doesn’t look awful:

If the Vandy QB wins his lawsuit maybe this kid can play here until he's 30?Since he was Juco he gets the extra eligibility, correct?
I doubt that personally, saying "we want you to be a backup here" especially coming from being a backup at USC would be an awful recruiting pitch. Seems like someone AhYat could learn alot from, especially if he gets the nod, I'm expecting "want you to compete for the starting gig" is more likely and think he has a chance.Certainly doesn't seem like a "you're the guy if you come here" type of move, for sure.
I don't think they're telling him that, either. I'm sure they told him what they tell pretty much every player, that he'll have a chance to compete. Same thing they told Fife.I doubt that personally, saying "we want you to be a backup here" especially coming from being a backup at USC would be an awful recruiting pitch. Not projecting personal feelings at all, he has had multiple years under a coach who is known for developing and good QB play. Despite not playing a snap that's alot of knowledge he could pass on to AhYat, also Hauks tendency to always have open competitions for positions in the off-season.I don't think they're telling him that, either. Also, why do you assume Ah Yat has a lot to learn from a guy that has thrown 0 passes in a DI football game? Not saying he doesn't, but Keali'i has much more experience playing in real DI college football games than Jake does. It seems like you're projecting your feelings onto the situation a bit here.
LMAO Riley would probably be fired if his buyout was smaller. Their fans hate that guy now.Not projecting personal feelings at all, he has had multiple years under a coach who is known for developing and good QB play. Ah Yat's major issues are not being able to process things at game speed when the bullets are flying. Not projecting personal feelings at all, he has had multiple years under a coach who is known for developing and good QB play.
