Two of the top ten FCS teams are idle: #3 Youngstown State (4-0) and #5 James Madison (3-1). Plus, two top ten teams are in action in the Big Sky. So I went out to #13 and #14 to make up the poll. We do have two matchups between ranked teams to play with.

Many of these should be very good games. For the poll I took...

Northern Iowa knocking off the NDSU Bison.
Also New Hampshire taking down Delaware.
:ugeek:

While I don't strongly disagree with the trend so far, I'm a bit surprised more people aren't picking Richmond (3-1) -- playing at home -- to upset Old Dominion (4-0). Except for Richmond getting creamed at Virginia (as expected), neither team has played a powerhouse schedule to start the season. In there toughest game, ODU hung on to win a shootout, at home, against a 2-2 New Hampshire team.

Just sayin' ...

I'm going to say this right now.........there is NO WAY Northern Iowa stays within 14 points of North Dakota State. Lack of respect for NDSU on this board. NDSU wins and it could get really ugly

New Hampshire just scored (early in Q4), lead Delaware 21-7. Upset looking better.
Edit: 24-7 about half way thru Q4.

Wofford leading Elon, 7-3 ... still in Q1.
Edit: 14-7 Woff, early in Q2.

BTW: Thursday, Sam Houston walloped Tex So 50-6.

Other games not until 1-1:30, or later in the afternoon.

(FBS: Track meet at W Virg, 35-35 at the half. )

Final: New Hamp. 34-14. Good pick, folks, on the second most-likely upset. Actually, Delaware scored late against the "prevent" to make the game look closer than it really was (UNH more than doubled up UD in yards, 472-234).
