Coaches at NDSU are not totally buying the stories about the severity of Chase Mason's injury. (He is supposedly "day-to-day.") They don't say anything specific except that they "will prepare for Mason with an eye on Marble." [Marble is QB2.] Link to pretty good article: https://www.inforum.com/sports/biso...son-head-coach-tim-polasek-planning-for-mason

"Reading between the lines," as it were, I get the notion that this sort of ploy is not at all unusual in this super-rivalry game. On the other hand, the loss of the starting defensive tackle for NDSU seems legit (but then, that may be yet another ploy).
Nothing different than what Bobby would do lol.

No one will know until SDSU takes the field on their first offensive series, but I guess it gives us something to talk about at least. 😉

Getting carted off the field in an ambulance doesn't usually lead you to be able to play the next week. Stranger things have happened but I would be surprised if NDSU's starting DLmen was playing this week.

Totally agree. That would be more than little over the top.

Brace yourself people. Tarleton State just beat another cupcake (Eastern Kentucky, 3-5). Whoever loses the Dakota State(s) game should not drop much (unless the game is somehow one-sided), but it will probably be enough to nudge the Texans up to #2.

#12 Jackson State is about to take a major hit in the polls ... Grambling is not just urnanked, they have not received any votes in previous polls. Actually, J-State should never have been ranked as high as #12, IMHO.
