As before, the team on the left is considered the underdog. Since they are mostly unranked, or are double-digit rankings against top-ten, that call is pretty straightforward. Note that Ga Southern is playing out of conference.

I skipped #4 ODU and #12 App State because they are playing teams whose collective record is 5-13: Upsets seem highly unlikely. (Of course, #2 MSU, #5 EWU, #11 NAU and #19 CP are covered in the Big Sky poll.)

Overall chances for upsets among ranked teams is significantly reduced because five of the 25 have byes this weekend: #10 UNH, #14 Central Ark, #15 Illinois State, #18 Indiana State, and #24 Tenn State.

I will be rooting for South Dakota State to slide by NDSU and Liberty to beat Stony Brook. I think realistically I have Chattanooga beatin Wofford and Villain-ova beating the Dukes of JMU

I got Liberty..any win for makes the Grizzlies look better.

Two teams I hate the most... Villanova and JMU. I picked the lesser of two evils..Villanova. I hope Villanova hangs 50 on them.

If SDSU can actually pull the upset over NDSU, it could mean that the Griz would have an opportunity to knock off the #1 seeded cats two years in a row! That would put some smiles on some pretty grumpy faces this year in Grizland. :thumb:

Much as some would like to see North Dakota State get knocked off, the numbers are pretty strongly against it. (Especially since NDSU is playing at home.) The teams have fairly similar Strength of Schedules, but the RPI for NDSU is 21.5 (#66 in D-I) vs 15.6 for SDSU (#132). The Sagarin numbers project a 2-TD win for NDSU.

I'm a bit surprised more people aren't picking 'Nova to upset JMU, given that 'Nova is at home. JMU does have a better RPI (#97 vs #141 for 'Nova), but Nova has the edge in Strength of Schedule: 47.9 vs 43.4 (average of RPI site and Sagarin).

Nothing really new to say. Although FCS (Fox College Sports) TV definitely says they will be televising the NDSU-SDSU games (at 1:30 MDT), DirecTV still does not show it on their schedule. (DirecTV broadcasts FCS over channel 626.) Maybe on game day.

In case you missed a mention elsewhere, the NDSU-SDSU game will be on DirecTV at 1:30 MDT ... DTV 608 (not in HD, looks like ;) ).
