Upset Guesses, BSC (Oct 13)

just out of curiousity, why would ewu be favored in this game? cats are ranked higher. we're at home. we're ahead of them in nearly every stat across the board on offense and defense except for some passing stats. i'm trying not to be biased here but just can't see what the reasoning would be to have ewu favored in this one. i'm thinking cats -3.5 or so.

been wrong before however.... :shock:

I agree with that but think the spread would be less.

Nobody said they're good, but they're a hell of a lot better than Chadron State, UNC, and Drake, and probably Davis as well.

if we win, HOLY CRAP!! the underdog cats were able to knock off the eagles! can you imagine how difficult the eags schedule would appear if THAT happened?!

MSU will beat EWU by at least 17-24 points.

EWU is not a good team they havent beat anyone this year that doesnt suck ass. ND has no defense, UM has no QB, Idaho had no QB etc.

They are a wannabe paper tiger and will get rolled this week in Bozeman by another team that is highly over rated but will still crush the E-gals.

Best thing is the EWU douchebag fan base will blame the refs, turnovers and the Kardashians for this loss, instead of just accepting the their team is a middle of the pack FCS team with a HUGE inferiority complex.

I hardly ever bet on sports, and then only as a personal, face-to-face bit of fun. I suppose if I had an account somewhere, I could get the line on a particular game -- but otherwise finding it on the web for FCS matchups is just not worth the trouble. I have to pick an order, and poll rankings are the obvious answer -- there's no particular "editorial" comment involved.

Over on the top ten poll, I went against the rankings for one game only because they were very close (#5 vs #7) and the numbers I did have -- RPI and Sagarin -- slightly favored the home team.

As for fans on a UM fan board "always" picking their in-state rival to lose -- My, what a surprise That's practically a "throwaway" matchup, just to be complete. Thank goodness the system allows for more than one choice -- that second result is much more interesting than how many eGrizzers choose to "hate" on the kitties. :lol:
