Okay, time for some (minor) relief from the stupidities of certain over-grown children.

UC-Davis has the bye this coming weekend. The games at Sacramento and Cheney seem like the best chances for upsets. Of course, Sac State could go either way ... carry the momentum from a nice home win into their next home game, or be emotionally spent and get blown out. (Sorry, MSU haters, I'm rather afraid they shot their wad against CP. Would love to be wrong.) Normally, I'd say that both EWU and CP are too good to lose two games in a row -- but, of course, one of them has to. I'm thinking EWU at home gets the nod here.

I put the Griz in the underdog role for obvious reasons ... despite UM's better record.

I like SUU over UND. I don't think Sac Sate will beat MSU. I don't think Cal Poly's secondary is going step it up at Cheney and have an answer for EWU's pass attack on the Menstration Field.

No clear leader at this point. Wonder who thinks No Colo can pull off a win on the road? (GLWT)

I picked SUU and CPSLO. SUU is better than their record in my opinion and can beat anyone if they play well. (I know...total Madden statement) And Directional Washington...I just hate them and hope they lose.

In my perfect world ISU would beat NAU, but that isn't happening. I can dream though.

I had you guys as a lock against Weber until the suspensions, are there good enough back-ups to fill in?

I agree with the first statment.

And yes, the griz backups are good enough to beat Weber

Who exactly are the underdogs in these games?
I was going to ask that as well?
Same as they have been in the past -- team on the left is considered the "underdog" for the purposes of this thread. (Sorry, I should have repeated that information.) Thus, as I said, I made the Griz the underdog -- despite their better record -- because of all the recent mess.

It's understandable. 26-10 All-Time says it all. :)

That was a really nice win you had against us

The Sac State vs MSU possibility, which now leads the poll, barely, strikes me as a real dangerous matchup for MSU. Barring a complete free-fall the rest of the way, the kitties are pretty certain to get into the playoffs.

But this is IT for the Hornies: Despite their quality win against Cal Poly (beating 1-7 FBS Colorado no longer looks very impressive  ), they could not crack the top-25 in the polls. So they could not recover from a 4th loss at this point in the season. (No one would be impressed by a -- likely -- win over UC-Davis.) On the other hand, a win over MSU -- a second quality win -- would give them a good chance to earn a playoff spot.

No Big Sky Surprises
Although The Sports Network predicted a major surprise among the ranked teams outside the Big Sky, they expect form to hold here: http://www.sportsnetwork.com/merge/...foot2/writers/infcshuddle_mcdonnell/index.htm

Still, they do expect a couple of the games to be close:

Of course, predicting that the EWU-CP game will go into overtime and be decided by a point is really admitting that they have no clue who will win the damn game.

It was. We let you pass all over us, then snatched the W from you right at the end, completely demoralizing your players. It was goddamned beautiful!       :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

Agree to all of this. Which is why I'm worried. Plus playing for a fallen comrade.
