The HC (Holy Cross) coach is Bob Chesney, who has been successful at the D-III, D-II, and now D-1AA levels (83-38 overall). The announcers felt it would not be long before bigger/richer programs would come calling with a whole lot more $$$.

Sorry, I guess, about the UConn coach. But that team looked awful and there seems little hope of it getting better. Why put up with that pain?

Good article in USA Today about Edsall. Mediocre coach at best, left UConn suddenly for Maryland who fired him in year five, then UConn brings him back, 3-9 year one, 1-11 year two, 2-10 year three. This year's 45-0 loss at Fresno State, then the Holy Cross loss at home. What were they waiting for? Holy Cross was just an excuse to do what should have been done long ago.
