But i have experienced The kid that was always in the coaches office, running errands, staying after practice, ,sucking up etc and a kid that deserved to be ahead, but never made it. Coaches get caught up with favoritism likes and dislikes( kinda become buddies)and can't see the forest for the trees. The Position Coaches are the worst at that...I am sure you former Athletes have experienced this in your career. TOO BAD

This statement applies to junior football, and high school often times. However, a D1 football player does not experience this. The best players will play, or coaches get fired. No time to mess around with silly brown nosing and politics.
