Austin Carver only 5 feet tall? wow he seemed a lot taller than that when I watched him in high school.
He's going to be a "short route" specialist...   :egriz:

Vis and Bradley are here and on the official roster, just not the GoGriz roster, as it's wrong in many ways as mentioned above. No idea on Rokich.

Rokich is a Grey Shirt. He will not be with the team this fall, nor will he be on the fall roster.

He will join the team in the spring, you can look for him on the future spring 2014 roster.

Don't see a Marquin Russell from Lakewood, Washington listed.

#8 Marquin Russell, CB, will be getting serious looks to see if he can contribute as a true frosh...along with #2 Ryan McKinley (possibly at safety), #16 Marq Rogers at WR, #98 Mike Ralston at TE, #82 Noah Scarver at TE.

I wouldn't be too worried, he's been in Missoula for over a month working out with the team.

Tre Favors.and Walcott doubling up on #2 is interesting, that's going to have to change eventually, as well as #16.

#16 Dominique Bobo FR Wide Receiver is a new one. He's the track stud that the track team recently signed.

Good catches, gah-riz.

Favors is now #1.
Walcott stays #2.

Bobo is now #14
Rogers stays #16

He may be a lot of things, but his high school numbers don't clearly show Dominique Bobo to be the fastest player on the team. He ran a 10.89 100 as a senior; Herbert Gamboa ran a 10.51. Walcott ran faster than that, as well.
True, but his 200 time was faster than both of them by quite a bit at 21.39.

Gamboa's best was 21.60, and Walcott's was 22.19.

The only thing with that is you never even come close to running the 200 meters in football.

Yeah, and even at that, for most instances, the closest that comes to that is a boobscat coughing up a hairball.

Per your tight end comments, I think Ralston would be more likely to play as a true freshman than Scarver, just based on the coaching he's received and the quality of football played in his prep division.
If Delaney isn't blowing smoke about three tight end sets, then he's going to have to play one if not both of those two.

Looks like Rokich showed up early

Two new prep additions are wide receiver Tra Ludeman and offensive lineman Cameron Rokich. Ludeman is a quarterback/defensive back from Charlo High School. Rokich (from Juan Diego Catholic High School in West Jordan, Utah) had committed to play for the Griz last February, and was not going to enroll at UM until the winter semester, but he was invited to participate in fall camp.

Bobo sounds like he may be a contributor

"We've got a freshman, Dominique Bobo (who is a 6-3, 175-pound wide receiver and UM track recruit from Wichita Falls, Texas) who ran a 46.8 (400 meters) last year in the state of Texas, and he ran by a few guys today, and it looks like he can catch the ball well too,"he said.

Rokich...things changed, that's good. :D

Bobo...he was the Texas 3A 200 Meter Champion, this year held in Austin.

You make some good points.

But I still feel that both Ralston and Scarver will play in 2013.

***And I despise playing true freshman, but in this case (TE) I feel we need to.***

This has to be the biggest team roster I've ever seen, something like 93 guys with 8 players sharing numbers.

29 Connor Strahm FR Wide Receiver/Defensive Back 6-2 215 Eugene, Ore. (Sheldon)

Has there been talk of moving him to the other side of the ball? And wasn't there talk earlier about him possibly becoming a linebacker? Yet here he's listed as a DB...

Has any team ever had "100"?
I doubt that's ever happened at UM, but is pretty common in the i-a colleges.
